How to use embossing paste

Have you ever looked at scrapbook page or card and thought: This needs texture? Or does your scrapbook page seem to be flat? Well embossing paste is your answer.

As you can see in this picture, the embossing paste make it awesome. Here are the sizes and instruction for making the card. But please watch the video for tips on embossing.

 Sizing and instructions:

Whisper White CS  5 x 10 scored at 5

Basic Black CS 4 3/4 x 4 3/4

Whisper White CS 4 1/2 x 4 1/2

Ribbon to match  6 inches

Here is a still view of each card. Hope you enjoy embossing on your scrapbook. 

 With a close look you can see the embossing paste rose in the lower right corner. If you could touch this you would feel the texture. The other thing that is difficult to see from this picture is the shine from the dazzling diamonds.

To add some color I used the Berry Burst ribbon with silver trim.

 To the right, you see the completed card we did in the Pink Pirouette and Dazzling Diamond to our embossing paste.

PETAL PALETTE BUNDLE

Petal Palette Bundle from Stampin Up has quickly become a favorite by me and my club members.

 This is just one of several cards inspired by this bundle. The framelits used with Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets make it easy to place your design.

Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets makes all those small intrickit  cuts easier to position. They also make layering easier.

 Don't forget the inside of your cards, this bundle has 2 sets of stamps. One set is all sentiments while the other is great designs.

Though so many use this set in black and white, I see shades of pink, red and yellows, roses of course.  The bundle includes Petal Palette stamp set and Petals & More Thinlit Dies. 

Instructions: For top card done in red.

Cherry Cobbler  5 3/8 x 4 1/8
Basic Black  5 1/8 x 3 7/8
Whisper White  5 x 3 3/4
On a separate set of paper stamp rose bundle and sentiment.  Place Multipurpose Adhesive Sheet behind an additional sheet of Cherry Cobbler cardstock. Now cut out your banner and the embellishment.
Enjoy coloring your roses in Light Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blend, then highlight with Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin Blend.
You are ready to put your card together.
