Stampin Up: scrapbooking and card making

Recently, someone told me, she could not use SU because she only did scrapbooking. It started me thinking; maybe I need to show how easy it is to stamp and make your own embellishments with Stampin Up. So here are a few pages I have completed recently. Thought I would show how I have been using SU on my scrapbook pages. I also made a few cards out of the similar material.

Remember the cards we made in club from Nail It (143077) and Build it Framelits dies (143230)?

Well Wiley and I needed to remodel a rental house. Of course the photos to remember this time we are working together was a huge part of this trip. I took one evening and made a few papers using the same stamp set and framelits.

I have also thought of Wiley as an Excellent craft man and as we were working across the street from a school. I thought he should get an "A+" for his work. The "A" came from Urban District (143071) and the "+" came from Layered Letters Alphabet (138692). As these are stamp sets that are a must have for my craft room; these embellishments did not cost anything outside the cost of scrap paper!!!

Now I would like to go back and have you look at the Urban District stamp set seen on page 47 in the Occasions 2017  catalog. The letters in this set allow you to use them in so many different ways for men cards and pages. It can be used for pages about building, football, computer screens, hunting, sailing, mountains, camping, baseball, cowboy boots, guitar, gaming, baseball, etc. Just color the subject that matches the topic of your page.

One of the children from the school wanted to show me his fish tank he made for his Science class. So, I created a page for him to add the pictures we took of him and his project. WOW was his mother surprised when he came home with an "A" and scrap page with pictures.  Do I need to say I am having fun! #papercraftsbyelaine

This page was done with the Layered Letters Alphabet (138692) and Seaside Shore (141624) Paper is By the Shore (141641). How fun is this page?

Later, I want to send out cards to the wonderful ladies on my team. The By the Shore stamp set  (143006) had the perfect saying. While I was making this card, I thought about a motorcycle trip I took where we went to the lighthouses on the NC coast. Those pictures were still on the CD, but I found myself making a pages for them. Once again, my stamp sets, I use for the cards worked great for my scrapbook pages.

But scrapbooking with Stampin Up does not stop there. This is one of the recent Paper Pumpkins, I received in the mail. It has been turned into a perpetual calendar.

Here are a few of the page changes I made to make this my own.

A little more about this scrapbook. Each page has a pocket. This allows me to keep cards, I have pre-made for friends. That way I know right where the cards are and it is easy to just address and mail. Scrapbooking with Stampin Up is easy and fun..... not to mention less expensive.

Here are a few other stamp sets I love using with my scrapbook pages.
